IRISH JEWELLERY DESIGNER PIECES CHOSEN FOR DISENCHANTED- ON DISNEY+ NOW

The dazzling designs of a Cork jeweller play a starring role in helping to bring the magic of Disney's Enchanted follow-up Disenchanted to life. Pat Whyte's statement accessories were hand-selected for the highly-anticipated sequel by Oscar-winning Irish costume designer Joan Bergin.

The Dublin-born Emmy-winning costumer chose Pat's sparkling creations to be worn by none other than the leading lady of the Disney+ musical herself, Amy Adams. Her jewels can be spotted adorning an opulent gown worn by the two-time Golden Globe winner along with drop gem earrings which accompany a deep blue velvet gown with a whimsical peacock feather-trimmed neckline.

'That's where Pat Whyte's wonderful pieces fitted in perfectly with what I was trying to achieve,' the Cabra designer noted and she admitted that she got to know Pat's work on a more personal level as she would by the occasional piece for her jewellery box from Anastasia's boutique in Ranelagh, who proudly champion Irish design. 'Pat Whyte thoroughly entered into the spirit of the creative process allowing us to swap out when necessary and was great to work with,' Joan concluded.
